Puerto Inca

Puerto Inca is a Province as well as a village. It is located about 2 hours away from the city of Pucallpa and about 20 hours by bus and 1 hour by plane from Lima.

Farming Community

Most of the population of Puerto Inca lives off farming. The climate makes it possible to grow many vegetables and fruits such as cacao, yucca, bananas, mangos, papayas, oranges, etc.

Boiling River - Mayantuyacu

For long time the existence of the Boiling River was a myth. Until recently in 2011 Peruvian scientist Adres Ruzo found it. It's still a mystery to scientific world, as they only found one of its kind- a hot spring found in the middle of the Amazonas with no volcano close by.

The Pachitea River crosses through the province of Puerto Inca. It is a tributary of the Ucayali River. Then this river meets the Amazon River.

The Sira Mountains is a protected area in Peru. It is located in three regions: The Huanuco Region ( Puerto Inca Province), the Pasco Region (Oxapampa) and the Ucayali Region (Atalaya Province and Coronel Portillo Province). This Reserve is not only a perfect hiking place, but also must see for any bird and wild life lovers.
